WindShareFund (www.windsharefund.com) focuses on investing and participating in profitable, high-quality onshore wind turbines in Germany. The wind turbines are preferably manufactured by A-brand wind turbine manufacturers, which largely guarantees good technical quality. The technical condition of the wind turbines to be acquired is assessed through technical due diligence carried out by expert organizations.
Germany incentivizes sustainable investment. Binding German legislation under the Erneuerbare Energien Gesetz (EEG) guarantees fixed purchase prices for renewable energy for the entire term of the bond, and forms the basis of the income for investors in the ClimateBonds. WindShareFund aims to make investing in wind turbines accessible to a broad public.
WindShareFund I B.V. is the issuing institution of the WindShareFund ClimateBonds. The issuance of ClimateBonds by WindShareFund I B.V. was successfully completed in 2015.

Suspension of trading in WSF 1 bonds on Captin MTF
27 August 2026
Captin B.V. (“Captin”) has decided to suspend trading in the bonds of Windsharefund I B.V. (WSF 1) (ISIN: NL0012730600) listed on Captin MTF, effective 27 August 2026 at 16:30.
The reason for this decision is recent developments concerning WSF 1, including publicly disclosed information about a criminal investigation by the FIOD into possible embezzlement and money laundering, which public reporting associates with WindShareFund and its UBO.
Captin emphasises that this concerns an ongoing criminal investigation and allegations. No criminal offences have been established at this time.
Given the nature and seriousness of these developments, Captin considers continuation of trading at this time irresponsible. Captin has therefore suspended trading pursuant to article 5.5 of the Captin MTF Rulebook, also with a view to protecting the interests of investors and the orderly functioning of the market.
Captin has informed the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) of the suspension in accordance with article 32 of MiFID II.
Captin will work out the next steps and the further settlement. The bondholders concerned will be informed directly by Captin and will receive further information as soon as there is more clarity about the next steps.
The suspension of trading in itself does not affect the existing rights and claims of bondholders against WSF 1.
